Dementia Care Aware

To expand care for persons living with dementia (PLWD) and their families, the UCLA ADC Program is a proud partner in the Dementia Care Aware (DCA) initiative, led by the UCSF Division of Geriatrics. This new state-wide program in California aims to improve cognitive health assessments, dementia care, and the quality of life for PLWD for people over the age of 65 and older with Medi-Cal (California’s version of Medicaid).

Under the DCA program, UCLA will offer varying levels of training support for providers to improve dementia care.
